Imagine you are going to graduate and you want to apply for a job. Practice the conversation with your partner. The following patterns and expressions will probably help you .
 
Patterns and expressions often used for job hunting:
 
 What kind of education have you got?                  你受过什么教育?
 I've got a college education.                         我受过高等教育。
 What are you going to take up as a career?            你将要从事什么职业?
 What are you going to do when you finish school?      中学毕业后你想要做什么?
 What makes you choose medicine as your profession?    你为什么选择医学为职业?
 What were you good at in school?                      你在学校什么科目好?
 I am good at math in school.                          我数学好。
 My teachers say I have a certain talent for design.   我的老师都说我在设计方面 比较有天赋。
 What sorts of career opportunities are there for us?  我们的就业前景怎样?
 What are you going to do after graduation?            毕业之后你打算做什么?
 I'm going in for special training in computer science.我正要参加计算机专业训练。
 If possible, I'd like to apply to a graduate school.  如果可能,我想要报考研究生。
 I'd rather go in for something practical.             我想搞一点实际的工作。
