4.tactic: means of achieving something; expedient
Examples:
These tactics are unlikely to help you.
Different circumstances call for different tactics.
5.regale: amuse or entertain somebody (with stories, jokes, etc)
Examples:
She regaled us with an account of her schooldays.
She is at present gone to look for the best nectar and ambrosia to regale me this evening.
6.lodging: temporary accommodation
Examples:
Find a lodging for the night.
She found board and lodging in the house of her pupils' parents.
7.charge somebody (with something): accused somebody of something, especially formally in a court of law
Examples:
He was charged with murder.
I shall charge Gary with forgery and theft.
8. conspiracy: act of conspiring, especially joint planning of a crime
Examples:

9. extortion: a crime in which someone gets money or information from someone else by using force or threats
Examples:

12. restitution: (law) reparation, especially in the form of money, for injury, etc.
Examples:
You should make restitution for the damage done.
He was ordered to make restitution to his victim.
13. sting: a clever way of catching criminals in which the police secretly pretend to be criminals themselves
Examples:
It was a well-planned sting and shouldn't have failed.
The police has planned a sting to catch the bootlegger.
14. machination: evil plot or scheme
Examples:
Is this just another machination of power on the timeline of history?

15. captivating: fascinating; charming
Examples:
