small number of hospitals. It needs doctors and nurses. The
big towns have them but the villages don’t. 85 per cent of
the people live in the country. Michael Wood is a doctor and
a pilot. In 1960 he took a small aircraft into the country.
He visited a small hospital and performed an operation. He
flew the aircraft in Kenya
and Tanzania.
It is dangerous but important work. Since 1960 Michael Wood
