California Girl, 15,
Held in 2 Bank Robberies
Edrkeley, Calf., May 7 (AP) — A 15 year-old girl who told
the police that two men forced her to rob two Bank of America
branches in four days was in custody
today.
Inspector Dan Wolke said the girl was the youngest female
bank theft suspect he had seen in his 16 1/2 years on the
robbery.
“She went in with a handwritten demand note and gave it
to the teller,” he said. “She also said there was a man in
line behind her who had a gun and would shoot everybody.”
But witness said that they saw the girl run out of a bank
and climb a car driven by a couple.
