  Lists can contain many kinds of information, such as names of objects or people, ideas, conditions, etc. A list can be a series of words, phrases, sentences, or even longer pieces of writing.
  There are many different ways to organize lists. For example, lists can be alphabetical, which means that they are  organized according to the letters of the alphabet; or they can be sequential, which means that they are arranged according to the moments in time or steps in a process. Some short lists do not need to be organized, especially if all the items in the list are equally important.
